Board Fellows

Southern Leaders Board Fellows Program

The Board Fellows Program connects upperclassmen Southern Leaders to local non-profit agencies who are willing to allow selected students to serve as non-voting members of their board of directors.  This provides a unique leadership development opportunity for students to observe and gain practical application to the leadership knowledge they receive from the classroom and Southern Leaders Program.  Local nonprofit agencies that partner with the Southern Leaders Board Fellows Program gain a unique perspective from having an undergraduate student leader serving on their board.  Students serving as Board Fellows have developed fundraising initiatives, organized student volunteer opportunities, and raised awareness of their agency’s mission across campus.

The following students have been selected to serve as Board Fellows for the 2016-2017 academic year:

Ashley Archer, Senior

Sarina Keffer, Junior

Carolynn Nixon, Senior

Mackenzie Payne, Senior

Kat Shuman, Senior
