Weekly Trip Leader

Position Description

Trip Leaders help recruit volunteers, drive students to their service sites, and help volunteers get acquainted with local agencies and issues. They help others discover a passion for service and find local groups they feel truly connected to.

Minimum Requirements

Have a 2-3 hour block of time to lead a trip weekly while classes are in session. Valid Driver’s License.

Expectations

Attends Community Engagement Orientation each semester; Assists with Step Into Statesboro; Meets regularly with agency supervisor and Coordinator of Community Engagement. Attends monthly meetings and trainings. Promotes service opportunities offered through their agency and OLCE.

Specific Time Commitments

Community Engagement Orientation. 9am-5pm the first Sat. of each semester. 5-7pm one Tues/month.
