Our Mission

The Office of Leadership and Community Engagement utilizes an integrated theoretical approach to learning, service, and leadership that empowers students to become active, global citizens who lead positive change.

Our office is dedicated to helping students develop both in and out of the classroom through:

Leadership

A strong co-curricular leadership program of workshops, seminars, conferences, and nationally recognized speakers.

Community Engagement

Offering meaningful ways to be active participants within our community through alternative breaks, weekly volunteer opportunities, and ongoing service events.

Service-Learning

The integration of academic knowledge and an organized service activity to address community priorities and enhance pre-professional skills.

Sustainability

Increasing positive behavior change through education and awareness on sustainability issues on campus and in the community.
